Sorry for the confusion here.  If you created the IMDb account with your Google ID then your account has no password and cannot be deleted until you set one (entering your Google password is not going to work because, for good security reasons, we have no access to that password).

The way to delete the account is to first sign-out of IMDb at http://www.imdb.com/register/logout and then visit the forgotten password page at https://secure.imdb.com/register-imdb/forgotten ... please ensure you supply the address of your old Google account here  (beware of your browser auto-filling the address of your new one).  You will receive a password reset email at your old Google account.  Click the link supplied in the email to set a new password on your old account. Wait 10 minutes. Revist http://www.imdb.com/register/logout to ensure you are signed-out. Next visit http://www.imdb.com/register/login and choose the "IMDb" login method, enter your old Google email address and the new password which you just set.  Finally visit https://secure.imdb.com/register-imdb/delete to delete the old account.  Please follow these instructions carefully as if you accidentally delete your new account, it cannot be recovered; for this reason most people leave old accounts dormant rather than deleting them.
