Now, decades later and long since clean, I want to try and get some of those credits established. It is nearly impossible as many of those I dealt with are now dead, or scared it is a money grab. Obviously any verbal agreement made as a minor is technically unenforceable, but with the exception of James Cameron (on Titanic) and Barry Levinson (on jimmy Hollywood) no one owes me any money and I state that publicly.
I only have one producer that will confirm a consulting credit, Greg Strangis for War of the Worlds The Series. We both submitted the credit to IMDb years ago and it never got accepted.
Once I start getting some credits from the 80's it will improve my ability to get more.

If you worked on film titles you are welcome to submit your credits, as long as they are eligible for listing. Before submitting your credits, I would encourage you to review our Help page here to determine if the work you did is eligible. If so, you are welcome to submit your film credits through our online Update form. For help on how to add/update credits, please go here.
Please note that if your name was not credited on-screen in the role you performed, you will need to submit the credit with an "uncredited" attribute (an additional note on 'uncredited' credits, please note that you will need to have at least one on-screen credit listed on the site before any uncredited work will be displayed).
If you have any additional questions about credit eligibility or need assistance with submitting your credits, just let us know here and we'll be happy to help further. Cheers!

though there is another clear close up that lasted about 15 seconds. I told the camera operator to not shoot me, in no uncertain terms, as this was a very low point in my life. Most of the homeless filmed in it were done without their consent or for literally $1. All were targeted by LAPD after the movie came out.
Anyways, it isn't that easy. I want 2 old credits, as this Jimmy Hollywood can't be unseen it is one, the other is for the TV Series War of the Worlds. Only 3 people can nix that, Greg or Sam Strangis or Frank Mancuso Jr, who I recently reached out too. Greg has said he approves of an Consultant credit, though I was uncredited on the show.

You can copy it out of the receipt you would have received from IMDb by e-mail immediately after sending it in. Some of the regulars on the board may review it and, if they can, they may provide suggestions as to how to improve the submission to get it included in the database. (Also, please include the submission reference number -- it's an 18-digit number that will look something like 170123-123456-789000.)
As to Jimmy Hollywood, you mentioned that there is a "clear close up that lasted about 15 seconds". If you want to get an uncredited cast listing for that film, you will probably need to provide a still or clip from that scene that shows you more clearly. As stated at http://www.imdb.com/help/show_leaf?uncreditedcredits:
For cast/acting appearances, you must be identifiable and featured on-screen in the final released cut of the title. In other words, it's not enough to have worked on a production: your scenes must be included in the final cut and it must be possible to easily identify your appearance (i.e. background work as a crowd member or a similar role where it is impossible to recognize the subject are not eligible). ... We may ask you to supply evidence of this, so you should be prepared to provide photos/stills/screen grabs to verify that you are featured.I hope this helps. Good luck!

I believe finding Creative Consultant was not a possible credit, even though most shows have them. I was uncredited.

I believe finding Creative Consultant was not a possible credit, even though most shows have them. I was uncredited. That appears to be incorrect. There are over 38,000 credits listed in IMDb with the occupation "creative consultant".
Khiralla, MantisI would recommend that if you re-submit this credit, you make the following changes:
Other Crew member Credits - Add
Title: "War of the Worlds" (1988) {The Resurrection (#1.1)}
Attribute: (1988)
Occupation: miscellaneous crew
1. The attribute (1988) should not be used. The fact that this pertains to an episode from 1988 is already established by the episode for which the credit is being submitted. Rarely, if ever, should a year be submitted as an attribute for a person's credit.
If, as you indicate above, you were uncredited, please use (uncredited) as the attribute instead.
However, for any work you have done where you were credited on-screen with your regular IMDb name, Mantis Khiralla, usually no attribute would be needed.
2. The occupation "miscellaneous crew" should be used if that was your official job title on this project, but I would generally recommend avoiding the use of that as a job title because it is quite vague. If your actual job title was "creative consultant" as you wrote above, then submit "creative consultant" as your occupation.
I notice that your official site mentioned in the submission above is currently listed in the External Sites for your name page (see http://www.imdb.com/name/nm6087981/externalsites), so that part has been taken care of already.
I hope this helps.
