I was looking at Rupert Grint's IMDB page and saw that the name of his first movie is incorrect. The real name is Harry Potter and the Philosophers Stone. The entire world uses said name including the author who's movie rights belong to except for of course the Colonials, you call yourselves Americans but i won't call you that for the sake of the argument :)

The movie, as well as the novel, are known as
"Harry Potter and the Philosopher's Stone"
everywhere except the U.S.,
and so, every scene in which the Philosopher's Stone was mentioned,
was filmed twice
(once with the cast members saying "Philosopher's", and
once with them saying "Sorcerer's")...
The title change was done with the consent of J.K. Rowling,
but she has since said, that she regrets having granting permission,
and as a fledgling author,
she wasn't in a strong enough position to fight it at the time

It's not so much this one thing that annoys me but more your consistent repeated nature to change everything to suit your personal needs.
I am aware i am ranting, i am just so sick of this.

In principle, I agree with your rantings. IMDb shows the title for a film based on where you are accessing IMDb. If you are accessing IMDb from an English speaking country outside of North America, you should see: Harry Potter and the Philosopher's Stone,
which is the World-wide (English title) (theatrical title)
IMDb provides a listing of alternate title on the release info page for a film. For instance, this is the release info page for Harry Potter and the Philosopher's Stone:
http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0241527/releaseinfo
Unfortunately, Scholastic Books did not believe that US audiences would understand the concept of a philosopher stone. The US distributor, Warner Bros., followed suit.
Note: I am not an IMDb staff member. What I wrote above may not reflect IMDb's position or policy.

"imdb has thought About there choice of words and still decided to use the wrong word"Except they did no such thing. In the USA, where the movie was made, it is known as Harry Potter and the Sorcerer's Stone. The book that the movie is made on is also known this way. Bitch at whoever changed the book title for US audience.
