Hey I have some problems that I would like to talk about. The first one is why is the 89th Academy Awards' connections does not have it follow the other Academy Awards and have all of the people in the TV version of the In Memoriam in the cast? If you can have some pro editor make the 89th Academy Awards be followed from the 88th Academy Awards and the other Oscar shows with the rest of In Memoriam people that would be fine. My last and next problem is the edits for the references for Ready Player One are not coming up when their is proof in the trailer it has showed us online. This there a new rule on IMDb that you can only make references and other connections if the movie is already out? If so tell me and why you made this new rule please?

I have made a request to add a 'follows' link for The Oscars through this form:

About the other questions:

If a deceased person appears in the In Memoriam segment as a still photo, the appearance is probably not eligible for the cast list. Those who are featured in film clips may be eligible since they are credited. But someone would have to take the time to add them.

I'm not sure if references are accepted based on trailers. Perhaps you should post details of your submissions to find out what the problem is.

How and where do I post details of my submissions during edits? Also did you even watch the trailer for Ready Player One? Also I saw some photos online of what the Easter eggs where in that movie. Don't believe me, here is a website for some proof: http://collider.com/ready-player-one-trailer-breakdown/#easter-eggs

You could post the reference numbers and the text of your updates and ask if there was a problem with them. It might be best to do it in a new post/thread.
