My name is Sanny van Heteren- that is a small "v" on IMDB however they choose to make it a capital letter- which messes up my photo credits movie credit etc- I just want them to spell it correctly- Carice van Houten managed somehow- who do I write where do I go????

Hi. Did you try submitting a name correction already? You can do it by clicking the yellow 'Edit' button near the bottom of your name page.

yes- it does not recognise the small v from the capital V :-(

You need to include a detailed comment so they know exactly why the change is being made and by who.

When you submitted it, and it gave you a list of same/similar names, did you choose the last option which says "this is a new person, not already in the database?"

This is a poorly worded step that actually should say "new name, not already listed."

If that doesn't get accepted, you could choose to make a miscellaneous correction and explain the problem since the database generally 'knows' that names are usually capitalized.

You could also post here your submission ID number and let staff check on status of your request.
