I am using a quote from Amadeus found under, obviously, quotes from Amadeus. Do I have to cite IMDb as the source?

I guess it would be nice. But, you usually quote the creator, not how you heard about it. If I write a song, and you quote my lyrics, you'd quote me, not google since that's where you found it.

I am not an intellectual property lawyer, so I can not offer legal advice. Generally, using a quote from a film is considered fair use. With fair use, it is considered appropriate to acknowledge the source.

If you are using this as a signature on posts or email, simply indicate 1984 via IMDb. If you are using this for a paper for college or high school, or publication, then you should use the style guide required by your instructor or editor.
