I have 4 credits on the production designer section that should be deleted because I'm just the art director and the art director section has those titles already. I just want the 4 credits to be deleted from the Production Designer section

The movies are GRAND STREET, HOW TO SEDUCE DIFFICULT WOMEN, MONTCLAIR and COMING AND GOING. There is no Production Designer for those and I was the ART DIRECTOR. Right now they have me as art director for those and also as Production Designer with the attribute of Art director. Really confusing. I was not the Designer for those features.
If you think you can succeed in deleting those production designer credits please do. I would be really grateful. There is no Production Designer for those features.

I'm going to hold off on this change. I wanted to verify at least one as an example and it looks like the opposite is true.
For the film How to Seduce Difficult Women you are actually credited as Production Designer - so the category is right and actually it is the addition of (art director) that needs to be removed.
Sorry for not just going on your word, but IMDb policy is to credit as the credits state - so this credit is incorrect, but in the opposite way you describe.

But that was a mistake in the credits. It should be art director and that is what we agreed with director.

I hope you know the saying 'don't shoot the messenger' but IMDb policy is to credit as shown on-screen, not as per verbal or written agreements. The film credit sequence is the record - contracts fade, people die, the film (hopefully!) remains and thus it is this factual record that remains. Even typos of people's names are captured with an annotation such as:

I am sorry to add to this. But for the film Montclair, while I have no way of seeing the credits, on the poster you are listed as Production Designer. Perhaps this was not the case on the screen, but I have no way of knowing so don't feel comfortable to change the credits on that one....although again if anything the "(art director)" and art director credit should be the things removed.

I try to think the best of people, so I will not accuse you of anything here, but on the credits of the third film you mention, Coming & Going (2011), you are not listed anywhere on the credits - and there is only one Art Director credit.
I scanned it 4 times from top to bottom looking for job titles and your name; you are not credit on this film.
I'm going to give you a little time to get back to me, but otherwise tomorrow I'm going to submit some updates to change your credits to reflect what you are actually credited for.
I know this seems mean, but if you shared credit on IMDb on a film with someone who was not actually credited, you would want it removed....

Yes Miles Michael is the art director.
Bob if I'm not credited you are right to remove me. If you want to take away the Art director credit on the other two please do together with the (art director) attribute.

I will bookmark this thread because it is a great example of 2 things:
1) The reasons why nobody can/should just change data because the subject of the data says so...but more importantly:
2) It shows how these interactions should be conducted.
I really mean (2)....I am humbled by your graceful acceptance of what i showed you - and the polite, patient and professional in which you have dealt with me on this thread...the internet brings out the worst in people, and if this is the "worst" side of your character then I can only imagine you are a delight to work with.
I will make the changes as per the credits I can verify.

It is variable between 1 - 7 days, it can be hard to predict. For deletion of credits they seem to be slower since they don't want to make mistakes.
I included links to this thread and screenshots with the updates, so hopefully they will go through.
It doesn't matter, but it was a mess of data down there - you had been credited several times in the same roles (even the duplicates only showed up once), it was weird...

Conversely, it seems you have not been removed from Coming & Going (2011) even though you are not listed in the credits. I have done update 140630-122746-003000 to do that.
