I have seen that some other people would also like to have an ability to access their lists with the IMDb's mobile app:

https://getsatisfaction.com/imdb/topi...

I'm currently using Android based smartphone.

My film collection has almost 3000 titles. So when I'm out buying films from flea market or some shop it would be nice to be able to check if I have some movie in my collection already.

This is possible via imdb.com, but it's pretty annoying to use with a smartphone due the big amount of data you need to download and it's generally slow to navigate in the desktop version.

I don't think that importing these lists to mobile app is that hard because you can already add movies and TV shows to your watchlist.

So could you add "Your Lists" to the IMDb mobile application in the future updates?

I'd definitely like that, I have dozens of lists and it'd be very useful for me to be able to access them on the go. At the moment, I only use the Android app sporadically to check movie screening times, largely because I have no access to my lists.

I find that IMDb is great for cataloguing my home collection but I can't use my custom list on Android yeah right I am going to carry my laptop around to enter info although I was able to enter data to a custom list once on Android I think it was on a tablet I have noticed that the apps are different from say phones or tablets??!

I believe, from a test I did, that IMDb could reduce the size of the compact list by about 80% if they removed the ability to Rate each film from inside the list.

This would require a User to make one more click to rate a film (click title in list, rate film on main page, click back in browser), but would mean that they could expand the compact list to 2000 titles per page without increasing the bandwidth.

Same as above - I use it to keep a list of the DVD's I own. I have just swapped from iPhone to Android and this is a must have feature (which iPhone has)

I have the same problem as you guys have. I just recently switched from iPhone to Android.
The only reason for me to keep the Android-app is if I could access my "Your lists", since I use it each and every day, I don't understand why this feature isn't on the android-app since it's on the iphone-app.

This should totally be on the android app. I just switched from iPhone as well and am disappointed to see that I don't have access to my lists anymore.

Bump. Need this/same functionality as ios please. Surely it's not that hard to add lists to the app?

Now I discovered another strange thing with the Android app. There is no "check in" function, but of course this is in the iphone-function.

I am puzzled as to why this would be available on iOS, but not Android.  It's been that way for a while.  As a current iOS user, the lack of this feature on Android is one of a few reasons why I have been reluctant to switch.

Apple still sucks...sorry to be cynical but I hate proprietary manipulation. That aside, Android is much better anyway...not perfect...clearly...but it's better. Peace!

This is a must have feature, I recently switched from iPhone to Android, but the lack to maintaining lists baffles me, considering quantity of users are higher in Android compared to its counterpart.

I would be very happy if IMDB would please make this an option. I recently made the switch from iphone to Android and this is almost a deal breaker.

I have waited over a year for this. Can't be bothered with IMDb/Amazon any more. Worth a boycott, I reckon.

Good bye IMDb.

Still no answer from IMDB!? At least some information about why it's not possible to add this feature to the Android version would be very appreciated. Is it technically difficult or too expensive to implement?

Just switched to Android from iPhone. I can't beleive my Lists aren't available anymore. makes no sense. Don't have anymore reason to have the app on my phone, which I used to use almost daily!

IMDb/Amazon I have been with you since the beginning.
Please add "Your Lists" to the IMDb Android mobile application.
I recently switched from iPhone to Android and can't see why iOS has this feature but Android does not.

I mainly use IMDB through the Android app while watching movies: it would fantastic to have access to Lists other than Watchlist... I'll point it out reviewing on the PlayStore. is there any other channel to suggest this to IMDB?

It would be nice if there was a mobile app, hopefully useable on kindle (which uses android apps)

---
Back in the '90s I started using a little palm pilot (this is years before smart phones) that was basically just an address book. But instead of people I used each entry for films.

That lasted me until about 2012, I got a good 15 years out of it before I ran out of pages for more data. Than the battery died and I decided it was time for something new.

I'm currently using a kindle fire and typing each movie into a line in the address book feature.

The process of transferring these over by hand for several thousand entries has taken a very long time and quite frankly still is not done. I'd much rather be able to type these directly into a list on IMDB from any computer I am on and than access them mobile with an app on my kindle or phone.

I have been waiting for this for YEARS. And now I find out the feature has been on iOS for over a year?!?!? That's like a double-slap in the face. C'mon IMDb, this is 2015 - and Android's had larger market penetration than iOS for over 2 years now. There's no excuse.

I find it funny that Amazon which owns IMDB, can't program this feature into the android app, but they think they can program a Drone to deliver a book to my house. Amazon, forget about your Drone initiative
