I would very much love the capability to view new episode air dates for tv shows and movies which I have added to my wishlist/ watchlist. This would make it very convenient for me to keep track of my shows and movies I really want to watch. I understand that there are notifications sent to my email but that's more or less annoying.

It would be great for IMDb to export air dates for television episodes and for film debuts in a common calendar format, such as iCalendar (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/ICalendar). It would also be useful to include an iCalendar file in the reminder notices that IMDb sends via email.

... iCalendar is used and supported by a large number of products, including Google Calendar, Apple Calendar (formerly iCal), IBM Lotus Notes,[3] Yahoo! Calendar, Evolution (software), eM Client, Lightning extension for Mozilla Thunderbird and SeaMonkey, and partially by Microsoft Outlook and Novell GroupWise. iCalendar is designed to be independent of the transport protocol. ...
This is a list of products that can import iCalendar:
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_applications_with_iCalendar_support

Direct integration with Google Calendar would be impractical. This would only address one software vendor and would exclude people who do not use Google Calendar.

I have included below an example of an iCalendar file. If you save the text in a file named Avengers2.ics or Avengers2.txt, you can import that file into Google Calendar. I've already verified it works with my personal Google Calendar.
