I'm looking for the titles of 2 movies that I remember the titles name (1 - sleep deprivation) and (2 - alien girlfriend)

I'm looking for the titles of 2 movies that I can't remember the titles name, I've already searched through IMDB advanced search with all the search parameteres that I could remember and still can't find both movies.

I know the movies are considerabely recent, perhaps released within the last 2-3 years

The first movie plot goes something like this, we have an astronomer that works in search for alien life and mid film he comes across a girl that becomes his girlfriend, but she gets sick by the mid point of the film and eventually dies, turns out she was an alien all along that came to earth to help him find the coordinates of the aliens solar system, the movie ends with a shot of a dyson sphere around a star.

The second movie is about a radio host in new york that proposes to make a live radio show where he goes a great amount of days without sleep, and everything happens in a cabin set in manhattan square, turns out there is a serial killer which begins playing mind games with this radio host and there are a few murders along the way.

Can someone help me find any of these titles if possible?
