I'm right and I have proof but IMDb still doesn't believe me

In the soundtracks for Airplane! (1980), the song "Respect" by Otis Redding is listed, as it should be. However, the song is credited as being "Performed by Otis Redding" when in fact, the film does not use Otis Redding's recording, but instead includes a scene wherein the nun, played by Maureen McGovern, sings the song.

When I noticed this, naturally, I submitted a correction. It was declined, however, as it was "unable to verify". So, I resubmitted it with this simple explanation and a link:

"Otis Redding's recording is not used; rather, the song is performed in character by Maureen McGovern as the nun, in this scene: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xnCaFTaDGkc"

The YouTube link, of course, is a link to the scene in question.

This update also came back as being supposedly "unable to verify".

What's the issue here? What more kind of verification do they need?
