I have submitted many images to the site. But all are declined because of the reason "badly formatted". May I know the exact reason? What format should I use?
You may see this IMDB update receipt: #180420-091933-854102. Thanks very much!

Hi Anna,

Typically this rejection reason is used when the image is of poor quality therefore won't display well on the title page.

I hope this helps.

Will

Hi, Will. It won't display well in what sense? Like not cropping well or what?

Hi WIl,

Thanks for your prompt reply.
So is there any format like TIFF which is qualified to be shown at IMDB. Any more specific requirement? Thanks!

Best,
Anna

Hi, Anna Wong. AWS can convert TIFF to JPEG. The context of "formatting" has something to do with the actual appearance of an image, including its dimensions.

Why do I get this error - the file size is over 50k. It's clear image - jpg. What does 'badly formatted' mean? And how would we fix/address?

thanks!
