Would be nice someday if there was the option to search up URL Links for Page Names on IMDB rather than simply googling it for answers when it comes to using the [link=name] and [link=title] in Trivia Submissions.

A way to do that using IMDb alone sort of already exists.

I don't know what you mean Jeorj, but I'm also not clear what the OP means, as I describe in my reply to the root of this thread.

I think CuriousUserX90 is interested in determining the URLs of database entries, without copying-pasting from the results of web search engine queries. So, a solution would be to use the IMDb navigation bar search or the Advanced Search system for that matter, hover over a search result, right-click and select "Copy Link Location", then paste the URL where needed. However, it may be difficult to do this on smartphones, via their web browsers or via IMDb App.

By reading your other recent post

I'm guessing you are discussing the need for Help information regarding the format of making names and titles into active IMDb links within a Trivia item?

I've never tried to Contribute any sort of item using the Android app, and don't have access to a iOS device/app. But on the desktop version of IMDb.com, atop nearly every page you can find the word/link Help. This search on the Help page:

https://help.imdb.com/search/all?term=link+to+title

yields the appropriate article first. And on the submission page itself, it says:

If your submission contains a reference to another name or title that is currently listed on the site, please link it using the [link=title number or person number] format. For information please see our guide.

Tapping on the guide link brings you to the same page as that first Help entry.

If you're not referring to Help, but to the need to search for the name or title code, on a desktop I would do that in a separate tab/window. On an app, I suppose that would mean you need to use a browser and either google or IMDb to find it.
