The original topic I had for this has been closed. You can find it on https://getsatisfaction.com/imdb/topics/proof-of-fake-ratings. I posted very clear evidence (what I would say is clear proof) that Ratings on IMDb have been misused as a weapon against projects for years. IMDb reps point often to their link about how ratings are "determined." It's misleading and doesn't reflect IMDb's failure to take any kind of sincere action to remedy the issue.
I have new examples showing, once again, that ratings are being manipulated and abused, yet NO action is taken by imdb to fix it. Each of the following have EXACTLY twenty 1.0 ratings with EXACTLY the same male, female and age stats! It's so ridiculously obvious.
https://www.imdb.com/title/tt7880654/?ref_=tturv_ql
https://www.imdb.com/title/tt8014412/?ref_=tt_rt
It's the SAME pattern as the examples I gave on my other series:
https://www.imdb.com/title/tt1915208/?ref_=fn_al_tt_1 and
https://www.imdb.com/title/tt2045770/?ref_=fn_al_tt_1
From the research I've done, I can almost narrow down the activity to one to 2 people because the same pattern shows on this title:
https://www.imdb.com/title/tt2589362/ratings?ref_=tt_ov_rt
First, the latter three of these titles ALL have have 27 or 28 1.0 ratings - all other ratings are varied.
The person is methodically down-rating individual episodes as well!
AGAIN, IMDb could easily look at times and dates these ratings were entered...perhaps IP addresses? There's NO responsibility being taken....and the problem is running rampant on IMDb.
