iMDB - For Music Videos and Commercials, etc.

TV commercials are not eligible for listing on IMDb. They can appear in a person's resume page, if they have IMDbPro and have added it there, or in their "Other Works" section of their page, but the commercial itself cannot be added to IMDb and therefore would not show up in their filmography lists. I am not sure, even if the policy changes, that there'd be much info on them anyway. IMDb primarily documents on screen credits and I can't imagine ads will ever begin adding credits at the end since they pay for the time their ad takes. Most data is added by users who use the on screen credits to submit the data. I don't know where they'd get the data to send if there are no credits. Also, actors in ads probably tend to be people who have no existing credited acting roles and per IMDb policy, an actor who has an "uncredited" role added is not eligible to list it until he/she has a "credited" role. So, not many would be displayed even if they were submitted.

Music videos were, until recently, also not eligible and were being added as "Other Works" if the person had a page, but have recently been made eligible for listing, as my neighbor Matt's has just been added http://www.imdb.com/title/tt3609480  Music videos have begun to display credits for director, actors, etc. So, there is some data to be seen and used to add it to IMDb.

Online shows can currently be listed on IMDb. Is there one or some that you cannot locate? If so, it might be that they have not been added to IMDb or are not eligible for listing for some reason (see title eligibility rules http://www.imdb.com/help/show_leaf?titleeligibility
