Oh, and PLEASE NOTE IMDB: My "policy" is if somebody takes my personal information and my business information and posts it in their website, without my persmission, they are looking at one big class action lawsuit. You can bet on it. So don't waste your time copying and pasting your "stock reply" to this post, because we've all read them before. IMDb, your day is coming. You can not illegally post information in any form, without expressed permission. You have no legal right and your "terms of service" are meaningless. You are NOT a government agency and you do not serve the public with your data collection, you only serve yourself, with undisclosed profits. Again, your day is coming.

No trolls!
If you’re not sure whether you’re a troll, read up on it here.
Those boots were made for walkingIf Get Satisfaction isn’t for you, there’s always the door. We’ll miss you, but we’d hate for you to stick around if you’re unhappy.
Thank you for considering these rules, which are, themselves, carefully considered. DMCA Covers proprietary info (Script). That would also cover the display of the item (Film) in question, which did not happen. The film was not played on IMDb for viewing. All IMDb did was report the showing which was done by a submission by someone else (Contributor) to the database that knows the data to be true.
Sorry but as Jeorj stated you have provided nothing that constitutes any wrongdoing. Nothing.....
Your example is weak at best.
IMDb has been doing this a long time.
They are just like a news organization that reports facts. That's all.
IMDb is covered, just like any news organization, by the First Amendment.
And it does not matter if you are outside the US.
In IMDb's terms of service there are notifications that are a matter of public record as to it's location of origin and the laws of that state that apply.
In conclusion, you have no legal argument as a basis for the filing of any reliefs granted under any known statutes.

I only want to hear from people that have films posted in the IMDb. The rest of you are just bored human beings with nothing else to do but weigh in on a subject matter that doesn't concern you. To those people I say, get a life.

Reply back here, AFTER you have created a feature motion picture and the IMDb has total control over how the records and details are preserved and wether or not you even agreed to have your film listed in the IMDb to begin with.
Then, we will listen to your opinion.

Listen to yourself. Whoever you are, you command no respect with an attitude like that. Your pants go on one leg at a time like everyone else. Because you are in an industry that somehow or another makes you think that you are superior and that you can ignore a valid thought because of your convoluted idea of your own stature within is ridiculous. You wont even state who you are.
Afraid?
If you want to be taken seriously, reveal who you are. Otherwise you are only no higher on the stature chart than I.
Be willing to bet that you have a title that is rated low and are displeased. And judging from how you treat people, you deserve it.

Col Needham is not. No IMDb employee is.
So I guess he would consider a reply from them useless.
They don't have the credentials to reply.

Oh, and PLEASE NOTE IMDB: My "policy" is if somebody takes my personal information and my business information and posts it in their website, without my persmission, they are looking at one big class action lawsuit.A Class Action requires more than one person. That requires someone else. It requires lots of cash for attorney fees. No attorney will take that on contingency.
A "Big" class action lawsuit implies more than two. Big would be hundreds. I don't hear anybody wanting to do this. It would be big news in Variety. Where is that "Big" news?
