IMDB IPhone update erased all my rating and watchlist data

After the IMDB all got updated it requested to sign in again. It rejected my password so was forced to reset it. Was able to acces after resetting the password, but all my personal information (ratings, watch list) was lost. The recent history is there though.

Mine did this too, I clicked 'forgot password' and it just made me a whole new account

I can't get anything  from Facebook or my yahoo site! I have multiple sclerosis with memory losses. I am being punished by Facebook!!! I can't help my forgetfulness! Please help me! I want to hear my music and converse with my good friends on Facebook! Help me please! I've been in the hospital 3 times in less than 2 months!

I have over 67 people answering my questions, but when I click on it, I? can't see them!!! My home is in Pa. My FB friend from In. sent me some healing music and the communications are so staticky...I can't hear it!

Me too. Try and login using IMDb & I'm taken to AMAZON page stating enable cookies to continue shopping!! WTH ! I can login using Facebook & Amazon but not IMDb since the last iOS update. And I'm fed up asking for help and being passed from pillar to post I've asked for my "3 accounts" to be amalgamated into one with one watchlist but get fobbed off with try this then oh, try that then. And NEVER do you get an email address its always via this dinosaur method of communication. Fix my accounts please, including my login direct to IMDb. My username is always the same.

Did you see any error messages when you were unable to sign in originally?
You may have unintentionally created a second account.

Click on the link below to see if you are in your original account. If it shows that you have been an IMDb member for a shorter time that you expect, it is likely you are in a second account.

Hi Yann. Thanks for your reply. So in fact seems a new account was created when I asked to reset my password; now how can I enter my previous account if they share the same ID (darthemi)? I tried using @googlemail instead of @gmail as mentioned in the thread with no luck. Regards

I updated the app and when i signed back in hundreds of my ratings and watchlist films and shows were gone. What do I do?

I have not forgotten my password but my lists are gone too, some of my ratings are still there but my lists are gone..how can i get them back??

I've got the same exact problem. checked to see if I made a duplicate account, didn't work. would like to have 100 ratings and lists back.

I just updated my IMDB app today and have experienced this same issue.  All of my watch list has disappeared and 99% of my ratings. Please help

Is there any way i can find a list of passwords associated with the same email address? i think i may have a number of accounts - either through amazon / facebook / imdb.

There are quite a few issues now combined in this thread. 

For people who have accidentally created a new empty account, please see http://www.imdb.com/help/show_leaf?wrongaccount

For people unable to remember the email address with which they registered, please see http://www.imdb.com/help/show_leaf?nicknamelogin

For people able to login on the website but not on a mobile app, please change your password via https://secure.imdb.com/register-imdb/changepasswd

We have also made some changes to the login forms to fix various issues so simply trying again may work at this stage.
