Hello.
I wanted to make a comment to the IMDb editors about a show page.
Specifically, I wanted them to know that a future episode listed for the show would not be occurring because the show was ending prior to that.
I could not find any obvious place to do it. I tried to add the comment under "Miscellaneous Comments". However, when you add a comment, you are required to choose a "Type" from a drop-down menu. The only category on that drop-down list that seemed appropriate was "General", so I chose that. Then, after I had taken the time to write my comment, I was surprised and irritated to find that my comment was being "rejected". The reason given:
"Please select a specific type. Comments and corrections without a type specified are no longer accepted, sorry. You must select a more specific type."
Why is the category "General" included in the "Type" drop-down if it is just going to be "rejected"? Please remove categories from the list if you don't want to accept them anymore. Don't waste contributors' time!
Thank you.
