I know, right? I thought it was a cool idea to show the influence one man's had on the 250 list. I have another suggestion pitting Scorsese vs. Nolan against each other (IMDb 250 Face-Off: Scorsese vs. Nolan), which was also based around each director having the same number of films in the Top 250. But now that Dunkirk (2017) has come into play, it looks like this one won't be publishable either.
I think I may keep that thread alive though, with Scorsese's The Irishman (2018) standing a good chance to crack the list. Then they'd be equal again in terms of 250 films (with 8).
