IMDb Polls do not Inherit Image for Television Episodes When an Episode Does not Have a Primary Image

I first noticed the issue when this poll went live on July 1, 2018.

The list upon which this poll is based clearly has images for all of the choices:

However, when the poll went live, many of the choices do not have images. A specific example is the first choice in the poll:
Ripcord (1961– )
Episode: Where Do Elephants Go to Die? (1963)

The list has the image associated with the series:



Whereas the poll has no image:


On further examination, the episode does not have any image associated with the episode:

A specific example of a choice that retained the image is the third choice:
Burke's Law (1963–1966)
Episode: Who Killed Purity Mather? (1963)

The image in the list:


Appears as the image in the poll:


On further examination, the episode has two images associated with the episode:

As you are aware, the IMDb Poll software went live in September 3, 2013. The list software has been updated in the last year.

Ideally, the IMDb Poll software should be updated to allow for the image for an episode to inherit the image for the series when the episode does not have an image. I realize this is not a minor change to the IMDb Poll software. Budget and development time would have to be assigned to such an effort, and other development priorities are probably much higher.
