IMDB should allow for half stars when rating. Sometimes I really want to rate a movie a 7.5 or 8.5!

I agree and I made a thread saying the same. Point 5 ratings (as well as being able to rate a film zero) are a must

I agree. I feel like the reviews shouldn't have to be 10 lines either. Some people don't have that much to say about movies sometimes.

Whilst I understand where you are coming from - so often I would love to do a half star in the 10 star rating system.  And just because IMDB system is twice as good as Netflix, it does 't mean it cannot be improved on.
