IMDb won't let me remove a credit from a movie?

I am trying to remove the credit of someone off a movie. This person is me, but I used an alias when I submitted the movie. Now, it says that my real name and my alias both directed, wrote, produced the movie even though it's just one person. When I try to delete the credit off my alias, it just says "no titles available".

You should not have two Name pages on IMDb. One person, one page is correct.
You need to decide which name you intend to use as your main name in the business, then go to the other page and submit a Name Merge.

See Person X and person Y are the same, how can I combine their listings? for the official word on this.

Once the two pages are merged, how your credits on IMDb will be shown depends on how they were shown on scree. If the on-screen name matches the Primary name you have chosen it will be listed with the no attribute, but if they don't it will need to have an (as <on-screen name>) attribute included.

You will also need to wait for the update system to catch-up with the display.  The update system currently runs behind the display (by 36-48 hours) so that will explain why you cannot (yet) submit any corrections.  We are working on getting the update system to be as fast as the web site display to eliminate this problem.

That'd be great as it causes a lot of confusion (and posts here asking "what's up?"). Hope it happens!

Thanks, Col!
