How does anyone stand the way IMDb fakes the links that are supposed to CONTACT them when important info they report is wrong, only to find their links don't go to them, unless its to buy something. They have me quoted in a news article and I never talked to the reporter even!

The news articles are quoted as they are written on the pages they get the news from. The don't write the news articles themselves. If there's an error in one of the news articles, you need to follow the link to the full article, and then search for contact information on that site to get it corrected.

It is the links I'm talking about....too! The links provided to report to IMDb don't go to them. They take you in a circle as they attempt to get you to spend money.

The link to contact IMDb staff is on the main page of this site and only leads to a contact form. http://www.imdb.com/helpdesk/contact_...

However, there is no point in contacting IMDB - as cartman says, the text as displayed in the related news is taken directly from the partner websites. If you were to get them to change their content or delete it, then you can use the "report a problem" link below each snippet and IMDB helpdesk will usually sort the problem out (although no guarantees).

However, I wonder if this is a case f them inking in the wrong Tim Miller, as there are a lot of you:

Can you link to the news article that is the cause for concern? It might be possible to work out what has happened and we can then figure out the right way to get this sorted out, as there are a number of solutions available, but having some context is key.
