IMDB will not allow me to remove my date of birth or place of birth from site

For security and fraud related issues I requested that IMDB remove my full date and place of birth from IMDB.

I have emailed them but 'Leonardo' from the help desk is refusing to help.

I am not asking them to remove all the details, just the day or place of birth.

Can anyone please help? Does this require me to take legal action?
