Gökhan Özdemir,

If the list from the other account still exists, refer to "How can I save another person's list to my account?".

There is currently no way to automatically import a list on the IMDb.

Although it will be tedious, you can manually import a list from the comma separated file you had exported.

I am assuming that you have Excel or Open Office on your PC.

1. Create a List on your current account.
2. Select the type of list, enter a name and description.
3. For every item in the exported list:
3a. Copy the text under "const" and paste into box labeled "Add a movie or TV show to this list:"
3b. Click "Search"
3c. Select the film (or person) listed. There should only be one.
3d. Click the text "Click to add a description".
3e: Copy the text under "description" and paste into description field.
4. When complete or when you are tired of data entry, click the "Save" button.

If you did not enter the complete list in your first session, complete the list with steps 3 through 3e.

Unfortunately, the list your exported does not have the name or the description of your original list

hundreds maybe thousands of hours in creating lists. Export them, imdb crashes, no way to import them back. Duh.

There's a popular thread here discussing the same issue:

Add comments to it and let's see if we can get IMDb to add this feature!
