There's something else that needs to be fixed - it's something that was wrong with the old submission system as well.

If you submit Company data (eg Prod Co, MIsc Co), the credit order attributes that you supply are not displayed on the Full Summary listing (the grey-on-grey info in Gromit's posting above) and are not included in the submission confirmation email. This makes it very difficult to determine afterwards what order number you gave to each line.

In general, the Full Summary and the confirmation email need to contain all the attributes and fields that the user submitted so as to be an exact and full record of your submission.

I encountered something similar with submissions for another department (fields omitted from the listing/email) a few weeks ago (with the present system) but I forgot to note down what it was so I could report it.

Thanks Martin, this has been added to the list of feature requests. It's not a new issue introduced by the migration but we should fix it.

Here's another related suggestion. I don't know whether it's feasible. When an update is originally submitted, the page that is linked to in the Contributor's History is an accurate record of what was submitted. But once the submission has been processed, the same link takes you to a version of the form that has a lot of the submitted data missing (because they have been processed?). How easy would it be for the submission page linked to in Contibutor's History to remain as a permanent record of what was submitted, as a duplicate of the confirmation email.

Another thing that would be useful, and it may only be needed once in a blue moon, is the ability to trigger a submission (linked from Contributor's History) to generate a duplicate Confirmation Email. Occasionally I've found that the email never arrives so I have no record of that submission to check later against what has been published; in this situation I have to visit the submitted form (in Cont Hist) and save it as an htm file so I have a record for checking before it gets mangled as described above. Being able to say "send another copy of the email" would be useful on those rare occasions that something goes wrong with the automatic email.

Thanks Martin, there are currently no plans to change the data view from the contribution history page, although I have logged this as a feature request.

We are however looking into ways to improve the email notification system, which might help ease the first pain point somewhat.

Kind regards,
Tom
