The release calendars available at http://www.imdb.com/calendar only include future releases. Being able to browse releases of previous months and years would be useful for research purposes and might also help contributors discover errors in release data.
I believe this is a feature that used to exist, but was lost when pages were moved to a new design.
The coming soon feature at http://www.imdb.com/movies-coming-soon/ includes past releases, but only applies to the United States, despite all "localization" efforts.

By the way, I have not been able to contribute this weekend due to power and internet outage at home. There is no estimated time to restore power. We had a rather severe storm in our area; a tornado came within 200 feet of our house. Fortunately, none of the homes our neighbor had any damage.

I'd love to see this feature. Admittedly 53% of my readers are U.S., but I am in Australia so I like to refer to Australian release dates.
