Incorrect entry - should this be corrected/merged?

IMDB has an entry for Indian/British actress Pavenpreet Kaur with all her credits "as Paven Virk". Given that the only Google match for Pavenpreet Kaur is the IMDB entry (everything else as actress/writer is for her stage name Paven Virk) it's debatable whether her primary name should be Paven Virk and her real name should be Pavenpreet Kaur. But that's another matter; maybe she has decided to change her stage name (like Jessica Stevenson/Hynes or Samantha Janus/Womack). However that's by the by.

While I was searching, I came across another entry Paven Virk Writer with all her credits in the Writer or Misc Crew (writer) sections.

I presume that "Writer" in her name is spurious and should be removed. Her agency entry lists Paven Virk as a writer as well as an actress, so I imagine the entry Paven Virk Writer  should be merged into the one for Pavenpreet Kaur with attribute "as Paven Virk".

Does this seem sensible? I thought I'd sanity-check my logic before goign ahead and doing it.

Hi Martin -

Concerning the primary name on the page of "Pavenpreet Kaur", generally we list individuals on the site with the name that they are most frequently and recently credited under, however, we will allow individuals to display their preferred name if they have changed names or are working under a new name.

Concerning the potential duplicate, I have corrected the name text to just "Paven Virk" as the "Writer" text was likely in error.  If you believe that this page belongs to the same individual "Pavenpreet Kaur", you are welcome to request a Name Merge through our online Update form and our editors will take a look.
