I go to a part in IMDb and it seems to be easy to change your name, instead of my name "Noel Chrisjohn Benson" it comes up as my email and a bunch of numbers which I have NO clue where they came from. When I try to type my name in, it just says "invalid characters", and when I type in my profile change, it just stays the same. None of my producers or fellow actors can even see or find my profile, I'm hesitant now to get IMDb pro, because this should be a simple procedure, a big site like this and such a minor thing shouldn't be a problem, does anyone know how to change it, or where to email to have a monitor change my name? This site doesn't do me any good at all.

Your username on IMDb cannot have spaces in it. So "Noel Chrisjohn Benson" is not possible. "Noel_Chrisjohn_Benson" should be possible, though.

Keep in mind; your IMDb account and username and your IMDb work profile are two entirely separate entities.

It automatically defaults to your email and adds numbers if same/similar to other user names, I believe, if you don't select your own User ID. You can change your IMDb ID by hovering on your name in the upper right corner of the screen, clicking site settings and clicking on Change Your IMDb ID . It won't let you use a name with spaces as spaces are not allowed. It's intended to be your user account for accessing the site. It's not a searchable part of the database, but as you'll appear when chatting on message boards, etc. It's never been intended to be used as a person's real name. That, if you have Pro or not, but have an IMDb Name Page listing credits, bio, etc., is how you'll be listed in the searchable database of film/tv information. You'd be listed by your working name. Having Pro won't change any of that. It simply lets you access areas of info, such as contact info, upload resume, head shot, photos, etc. What your user account is called has no impact on that. It's either worth it to use/pay for those features, or not. Having a user name or not should not factor into that.
