Hi, Chip Phillips. Yes. The way to change the title type in the context of its original release is through a title correction whereby either "(TV)", "(V)" or "(VG)" without these quotation marks is appended to or dropped from an entry's mnemonic identifier (the title followed by release year in parenthesis). The format to signify a series or an episode is different. Expressed using placeholder a title (like "Title of Thing")...
  • A cinema movie has the form:
    Title of Work (Year)
  • A television movie has the form:
    Title of Work (Year) (TV)
  • A video, music video, commercial ad or home release movie has the form:
    Title of Work (Year) (V)
  • A video game has the form:
    Title of Work (Year) (VG)
  • A series has the form:
    "Title of Series" (Year)
  • An episode has the form:
    "Title of Series" (Year) {Title of Episode (#SN.EN)}
...where Year is the calendar year of the release of the work (optionally followed by a forward slash followed by Roman numerals), SN is the sequential number of the season to which the episode belongs, and EN is the sequential number of the episode counting from the first episode of the season to which it belongs. The title of the series is enclosed within double-quotation marks, whereas the title of the episode is not. While it is possible to change a non-episode-type title entry into an episode-type title entry (thereby assigning it to an existing series-type title entry), it is not currently possible to change an episode-type title entry into a non-episode-type title entry (as in plucking it from an existing series-type title entry).

A movie will automatically be classified as a feature movie or a short movie depending upon its running time and the nature of its release. A series will be classified a miniseries or simply a series depending upon whether a the keyword "tv-miniseries" is applied or not.

(The bit about Roman numerals is "if necessary" rather than "optionally", I meant.)

Chip: A change like this is done via a Title Correction.

Go to the page for this title at https://www.imdb.com/title/tt6287552/ and click "Edit page".

On the next screen, scroll down to near the bottom of the page, and on the Title Correction line, select "Add correction".

On the next screen, there will be a blank space in which to enter the corrected title. On that line, enter the title as:
"All the World's a Cage" (2016)

That is, put the main title in quotation marks, and no (V) at the end.

In the Explanation box, enter an explanation that this is a webseries, not a single video. Also, I recommend including a link to wherever the episodes of this series can be viewed to prove that it is a series, because that will clearly establish that the title is a series. (I personally haven't been able to find any episodes other than #1 and #10 so far.) Click "Check these updates".

On the next screen, you will get a warning that says, "There is a mismatch between the title type of the old and new titles. Are you certain that you wanted to change the type of the title as well as its spelling? ..." That's what you want, so check the box marked "Warning understood, go ahead anyway." Click "Re-check these updates".

On the next screen, your data should appear with a green background, and you should be able to click "Submit these updates".

Allow a few days for the correction to go through. Good luck!
