I just noticed that someone has put all the storyboard credits for "Star vs. the Forces of Evil" under Art Department. Since this is an animated show, according to the animation department guide, these credits belong in the animation department instead of the art department. Is there an easier way of updating these credits to put them in the correct place than having to edit every episode?

Credits can also be edited from each name page, though it looks like that wouldn't be much easier in this case.

Yeah, that didn't seem much easier. Some of these credits aren't complete either as this is a show that generally has two segments and the storyboard credits are unique to the segments and I didn't see those listed (at least on a quick glance of the series page.)
It looks like most of what is in the Art Department for this series really should be in the Animation Department. Maybe, I'll sit down and fix it but then someone has to talk to the contributor that put them there so they don't try and put them back.

If I recall, I’ve added Storyboard artists to Art Department, even in animations. There are now 162,068 ”storyboard artist” credits in Art Department, and 6,227 ”storyboard artist” credits in Animation. That was probably the fact that sealed the deal for me.
Sure, maybe the storyboard artists in animations can also be added to animation department, but moving existing credits sounds a bit overkill to me. Most of the storyboard artist credits in films like Cars seems to be in Art Department.

Why is it overkill to fix mistakes? They shouldn't be in the art department according to IMDb.
Edit: I mean this isn't even one of the case where you could argue against it being in the animation department because it isn't listed in the guide. The animation guide specifically says that for animated features that storyboard artists go in the animation department.
I would assume because people see live action features with storyboard artist in the art department, they assumed that the same was true for animation. This is a big problem of people not actually reading the guides.

I don’t really see Storyboard artist credits (also in animation films) added to Art Department as ”mistakes”. So yes, we probably look this issue from different angles.

They are per IMDb guidelines which all contributors should be following. If IMDb changes their policy (like they did for story editors), then that is a different discussion.

It specifically says storyboard artists belong here.
"The animation department list includes most non-effects animation tasks.
