Is there any way to remove wrong credits more easily?

Many of "Laugh-In"'s later seasons credit are simply incorrect.

Actor Richard Dawson, for instance, is credited for appearing in the entire fourth season, yet is nowhere to be found.

I've tried removing those myself, yet didn't succeed.

What can be done about it?

I believe he’s listed appearing in the epidodes #13-26 from season 4. Perhaps you saw one (or more) of the episodes #1-12 from S4?

I've just wrapped up the season 4 viewing. While you're correct about the number of episodes he's credited in, yet he wasn't in ANY of the episodes of that season.

Hi Refael,

Thanks for your post.

If Richard Dawson is listed in the titles end credits but doesn't actually appear one camera, we will still include the credits on his filmography page. We reflect a titles most complete credit sequence where possible.

Please let us know if you have further questions.

Hope this helps!

...but the (credit only) attribute should be added to properly reflect the situation

Joel: while I understand your statement & approach - "Laugh-In"'s performers weren't credited at the end of the show to the best of my recollection.

Sammy Davis Jr. also recieved several "false" credits during the 4th season.

Joel, in addition: throughout the fourth & fifth season of the same show there's a credit for Lisa Farringer as a regular performer while no such actress is presented.

Refael, I think it would help if you made a distinction between actual credits (that appear on screen) and IMDb listings.

It seems to me that uncredited performers should get recognized as just "uncredited" as it sometimes occured on IMDB for this very show, and I fail to understand credits listed here as actual showings when they were never actually made.

Hi Refael,

If he wasn't credited on screen and didn't take part in the episode then you are correct, the credit should be removed. If however he was credited and didn't appear then he should have a credit on IMDb on that episode with the attribute (credit only) to align with our policies. If you wish to amend this data then please submit an update to our data editors listing as much detail as possible and they will be happy to take a look.

Regards,
Will
