No. I am sorry, it's not possible. They are created by an automated process based on the most popular titles from your credits, which have a poster available. It's to help, in the search areas, people distinguish between same/similar names (that's why popularity, regardless of type of credit, is used).

Your response is simply not true. I have MUCH more popular credits then those listed in my known for and one of my known for credits has NO poster and another is 15 YEARS OLD!

No. It's automated and they don't accept requests to change it.
Did you read the information on the pages I linked? It would help you understand. Also, again, what you consider "popular" may not be, based on the criteria they utilize to calculate this. They describe some of it but add that there are also other things not listed that are used. So, technically, you and I would never know what your most "popular" is without knowing all the details. And, again, it really doesn't matter. It's not meant to advertise your work or assign any importance to one of your credits over another, but is simply used by the system to guide site users to the right names when doing searches. So, there'd really be no big need to change things up upon request. It's automated and deals with the functionality of the search features, etc., so monkeying with the parts might screw things up...you probably would prefer it works and that people can find your page, ultimately, right?

Basically I think it comes down to festivals (money) as imdb is linked to withoutabox which accepts payments ie. the more submissions the more "popular" the film - from there it goes to awards received. This seems to be true for the films in my "known for" space.
We should be able to disable this feature as I would like to be known for the films I personally want to be" known for." regardless of festival submissions.

The section is not for displaying your preference at how you'd like to be known but, as all parts of the database, it's to assist users in searching for info. So, if you've had a lot more credits and for titles getting 'clicks,' those will display first as that's how users are more likely to know you or your name.

Seriously. I have known for posters of shorts noone has ever seen, cuz it was made for internet. While my real successful movies are not there. It's really annoying. And It should be easy to fix on Imdb side. I wanna decide what films that are going to represent me- thou Imdb is a site that the business actually use. Please.

Malin,
It might be helpful to you to think of the page in your name as IMDb's page about you, not your page to tailor to your own preferences.
An IMDb Name Page is not a resume service but a factual document of which titles you've been credit for. IMDb does, however, offer a resume feature as part of IMDbPro. You can subscribe and put what you want into your resume. But the actual page of the database is not for you to manipulate as you desire. You should not be deciding what to display there. It should be as accurate and complete as possible.

"Known For" Credits Frequently Asked Questions
When I search for a person, each matching name on the results page has a title next to it. How is that title chosen?
particularly the bulleted list in the second link that describes some of the factors weighed in ranking your knownfors. The final bullet point
is likely the determining factor in the selection of those two "student films" chosen over more prominent titles. On both of those films you are the first credited actor. On Back at the Ranch (2004), you're the first of only three ordered cast, for The Root and the Offspring (2010), you're the only ordered cast member. On
I Saw the Light (2015) you're ordered fifteenth, for Parkland (2013) you're 42nd.
While, you can't adjust the formula that goes into choosing your knownfors, you may be able to affect the choice by providing more complete information on those two films. Ordering the entire credited cast lists per those onscreen credits could possibly make your name less prominent with respect to those other names on those films. No guarantees, there may be additional overriding factors.
