Issue With Adding Credits For Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez

This person ( was created Wednesday morning when she had her first TV credit. When I went to add more credits on various news shows I was not able to find her when doing Add Credits, despite her being in the guide.

I had to go through her IMDB page directly and add credits for individual episodes of CNN Newsroom, New Day, MTP Daily and Erin Burnett Outfront.

That works for shows and episodes with short names, however, she is scheduled to be on tonight's Late Show With Stephen Colbert. When you go to edit that page the following is the title: Updating Information for "The Late Show with Stephen Colbert" (2015) {Michael Moore/Eric Andre & Derrick Beckles/Kate the Chemist/Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (#3.166)}

That is too long to copy and paste and add credits through her guide.

Is this an issue of it being less than 2 days that her guide was created and eventually it will show up, or is there something with her name that is causing the issue and too many search results being put ahead of her?

I suspect that there are numerous contributors that have submitted credits for Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez within the past 24-48 hours. This brings up another issue: the creation of a duplicate name page. In the rush of adding all of the credits to one page (II), the originial name page was already created a couple weeks earlier (I).
In my opinion, consider submitting a name merge which will combine both pages before adding any more credits.

Hi, Kevin Cantor. The problem you've described sounds like a known bug at large. Try instead adding either "Ocasio-Cortez, Alexandria (II)" or "nm9936552" [neither with the quotation marks] to the cast list of the episode in question, please. That should do the trick.

Kevin: There is a known bug with titles that are more than 50 characters long not being accepted; see because it appears you may be dealing with that same issue.

In the meantime, you should be able to submit her credits by going to the page for each appropriate episode and submitting her name to the cast of the episode. I just tested that for the "Late Show with Stephen Colbert" episode and it seemed to work properly, although I didn't actually submit the credit.

Hi Kevin -

As mentioned above by gromit82 and Jeorj, this issue is caused by a known bug, I have added your comments and this example to the ticket, our technical team are still investigating the issue, however, in the meantime, as suggested, please continue to add the credit directly from the episode or use the ttconst of the episode in the text box instead.

Thank you everyone. I was able to add the credit by directly writing the name out as Ocasio-Cortez, Alexandria (II).
