Hi, I submitted a request on 8/2/13 for a correction I've been trying to have made for years (and I'm not exaggerating!) and the correction has STILL not been made an no one has gotten back to me. It's communication #9688599. What can I do? It's ridiculous that no one has responded or made the change.

It'd be nearly impossible to know what's going on without details of what you're correcting and what you're doing to correct it, but if you post the submission ID number from your last submission, which you can get here http://www.imdb.com/updates/history perhaps staffncan take a look. Otherwise, if you describe the problem, some of us users might be able to take a shot at it, in the mean time.

Thanks for getting back to me. The number I posted, 9688599, is the contact number for my last help desk communication. I was told by someone on this site that I needed to submit evidence to substantiate the corrections I want them to make, so I uploaded a crew list to Dropbox and sent the help desk the link along with an explanation. This is what I wrote:
I've been trying to correct the way my "Big Bang Theory" credit is listed for YEARS. Hopefully this link will finally do the trick. I worked on the entire second season of the show as a writers' assistant. For some unknown reason, IMDB is listing me as having only worked on 16 episodes -- that is a mistake! I've submitted corrections multiple times in the past several years and no one will fix it. This is ridiculous!
"This link should take you to a dropbox folder containing a scan of pages 1-2 "Big Bang Theory's" Crew list from the end of the season on which I worked. As you'll see, my name is at the top of the front page, and the date/revision on the crew list says "Goldenrod 3/11/09 - it was issued toward the end of the season when we were well beyond 16 episodes! If you look on the second page, you'll see me listed
as Writers' Assistant toward the bottom of the page. That's because I was still working there and continued to do so until the season wrapped. Please correct my IMDB credits! If for some reason, you have any further issues, please respond to me so I know what to do to fix this. I'm tired of being misrepresented on your site and having my resume questioned by people when it is accurate. The process for making this correction has been insane, especially when there is no one with whom I can communicate directly.
Thank you in advance."
Prior to sending this, I had already submitted corrections to the site several times over several years. I did it individually by episode. I was told before sending this last email that they didn't update it because I'm not listed in the credits. I wasn't for the first 16 episodes either but they include those on IMDB. That show doesn't list the writers' assistant in the credits. And how would I get a video of the credits anyway? I worked on the show! I worked there that entire season! I am listed in the crew list! I don't understand but I would like this to be fixed already.

Jennifer, we received your request and it's still pending. I'm sorry this is taking so long, but reviewing supporting documentation for uncredited work is a manual process which, as highlighted on the form, can take several weeks, especially when it's submitted without including an update reference number for which it was provided.
I've taken a look and, barring unforeseen problems, I would expect the info to appear within the next couple of weeks. However, please also keep in mind that uncredited work is accepted at our editors' discretion, as documented here.
Thank you for your patience.

Was preparing reply when Giancarlo got you taken care of. If there are any more problems, include the submission ID number, which you can get from the link I gave, instead of Help Desk conversations. It's much more helpful, as Giancarlo suggested. From your received response that you're not listed in the credits, it might be you neglected to add the "uncredited" attribute for that particular submission. Further, the proper way to submit evidence to support your submissions is to use the verification form http://www.imdb.com/helpdesk/data_ver... which will link the proof to the actual submission and it will speed things up also. It sounds like you'll soon be up to speed though! Good luck and you're certainly welcome! I am certainly surprised they don't credit everyone involved in the writing for that show! You certainly all deserve it!

Thank you. I did submit my last request for help through the same link you sent, and I included a link to a dropbox folder I created containing the crew list. The last time I corrected my credits, I did as you suggested and made sure to check "uncredited" -- none of my efforts have helped! Trust me, I've been through layers and layers of this and have been back and forth with people over there. Hopefully this last thing will finally do the trick. Thanks!
