How about A View to a Kill (https://www.imdb.com/title/tt0090264/). Bond gets knocked out and placed in the back seat of a car, I think. (I don't think he's in the trunk though.) The car is rolled into a lake, and he wakes up and exits the car. He can see his would-be killers, so he breathes air from the car tyres until the baddies go away.
