The last week I see again the films Psycho, Psycho II and Psycho III. My surprise was that Psycho II and Psycho III uses an archive footage of the shower scene with Janet Leigh (Marion Crane).
In the trivial section (connections) of Psycho talk about it. But surprise, Psycho II and Psycho III cast members profiles dont include archive footage uncredited of Janet Leigh as Marion Crane.

I supposed that Janet Leigh should appear because:
In Psycho III there are two flashback:
- Shower scene from Psycho: Janet Leigh is not credited as archive footage uncredited at Imdb
- Murder of Mrs. Spool from Psycho II: Claudia Bryar is credited as archive footage uncredited at Imdb

Lose, as guidelines suggest "The standard "two wrongs don't make a right" rule also applies: just because we have credits that violate some of the above, doesn't mean that the rules are not valid (it just means that those credits were accepted before the rules were established, or we didn't know better, or we just made a mistake)". However there is also "Forrest Gump" rule which says "If archive footage is an integral part of the film's narrative, it's eligible".
I'd say that we should wait for staff to have their word on that specific case (I am an experienced user just providing my help hence the "Champion" status). It's likely that Claudia Bryar's listing will be removed rather then Leigh's added in this case, though.
To be perfectly honest, if it was for me I would have listed everything as archive footage with little to no exception. However, my personal standards are different from IMDb rules and they are rather strict on that matter.

As mentioned, recycled footage from another title is not eligible for an (archive footage) credit - any instances of this should instead be placed in the movie link connections section.
