Antichrist(2009) 9/10
This movie makes any movie that attempts to address the same issues seem like a children's studio. Antichrist is an art film, beautiful images beautifully filmed, a complex story about human nature, religion, witchcraft, rationality and morals. The great achievement of Lars Von Trier is that he expresses all this through a dreamlike paradise, metaphoric, full of symbolism, is a director that provokes thought and asks our mind to go beyond what we can see with the naked eye, it is not like Christopher Nolan who makes very good movies but we will never find this level of symbology to talk about so many topics, this level of depth that can be divided into several layers, instead he prefers to explain everything as if we were children, of the way that is easier for he. That is really what makes this movie unique, this kind of movies is real cinema, Lars Von Trier chose to draw with his camera as if it were a brush what a painter would do in a work of art.

Richard Jewell(2019) 7/10
Although it is a very well made film, with the characteristic moral seal of Clint Eastwood, and appreciable the fact that Sir Eastwood is 90 years old and is still directing movies. Richard Jewell tells a well-known story in Clint's films, a man unjustly accused by law and the mediums, the life of this benevolent man is affected by this, not only his, also the life that of everyone around him. However the film becomes generic and leaves so many loose ends and indefinite characters, for example Kathy Scruggs was the most brazen, practically changes his ideology in the middle of the film without any reason and is not even given a close bow. This and others failures make the story of the movie not as consistent as it should. The police procedure is very well taken care of but it is absolutely nothing innovative and it is until cliche. So many things that throughout the film are forgotten as the microphones that supposedly install in the house, Nadya discovered it but nobody knows how, and of one scene for another nobody seems to care.

Weathering with You (2019), 9/10. The English dub was great. Though, I wish I had the option for the subtitled version or at least knew it was going to be the English dubbed version when buying the ticket.

The Spy Who Loved Me (1977) - 2/10 Action; 10/10 Make Love, not Cold War; 100/10 bite force. The old James Bond movies seem less archaic now than ten years ago with regards to the political climate.

A Ghost Story(2017) 9/10
Personally, I consider this film a true narrative and technical achievement, it seems to me that telling a story through images without the use of dialogues is the most complicated thing for filmmakers, that is exactly what this film does; its actors are so expressive and the camera moves so well that it speaks for itself, each frame of this movie speaks more than a thousand words. Among its technical beauty lies a very deep story about life and death, have you ever wondered if there is life after death? probably if there were something after all this, it would be much sadder than life itself, this is a perfect portrait of this situation; thinking while you see how your existence is being forgotten, resign yourself to the passage of time, and discover that life is only a small period of time and death is eternal.
This movie is one of the best that touches the issue of loss and oblivion, obviously it is not a movie that anyone would endure, and you can easily get bored in the first 20 minutes.

Bad Boys for Life 3/10
In this movie there is nothing salvageable and nothing interesting beyond testosterone and mindless action that explode the screen, it will be quickly forgotten as another generic action movie with a soundtrack of songs of the moment, like the previous movies of this horrible saga.

JoJo Rabbit 8/10
The reason why critics are hating this movie is the same reason that the public loves it, it is a satire about one of the most terrible moments in human history, these stories must be told as seriously as possible in the world, at this time that people are hypersensitive, film critics sometimes take movies from fun for this kind of thing. JoJo Rabbit begins as a conventional comedy that discouraged me in the first moment with a caricatured representation of Adolf hitler, however with the development of the film, Hitler who is only the imaginary friend of JoJo takes radical attitudes and becomes the antagonist of the story at any given time. The first minutes with the children's camp, the friendly instructor and the symmetry of the frame reminded me a lot of Moonrise Kingdom, obviously Waititi owes Wes Anderson a lot when making this movie, JoJo Rabbit makes a sudden change after the first Act of the film, when an intense drama is introduced that makes the film more and more entertaining, knows how to lighten things with a touch of black comedy, and make them intense at the same time.

Never seen Space Jam, and never really cared to, but some unknown force was pulling my cursor towards your review. Interesting. May have to give it a try sometime. :)

Bad Moms (2016) - 7/10. US mainstream comedies look like attentive social critiques compared to their German equivalents. Does this movie intentionally resemble the US presidential election campaigns of the same year?

The Man Who Killed Hitler and Then The Bigfoot, 6/10. Different kind of a movie. Not as good as you may have hoped, but better than you would've thought.

Sunset Strip (1985), 1/10. 9/10 Rifftrax commentary.

The Stranger (1973) AKA Stranded in Space (1973 TV Movie) AKA failed TV pilot. Movie? 1/10. MST3k episode? 10/10.
Weird as I have no memory of ever seeing this episode or movie and then finding out that I already rated the movie on IMDb. Life's funny that way.
