Just getting started and need HELP

Hi Michelle. A very good actor friend has approached a studio in LA about making an animated movie from my son's novel. He told me to open an account on here and put information about that in the IMDb, but I don't know what to do beyond this point. I've already created and sent him a "Press Kit" and he said, "And an IMDB page for the project with me as actor and producer." How do I set up the information about the movie, naming him as producer/actor? I've managed to open the account, but this is all completely new to me and I don't know where to go from here. I won't mention any names right now, but I need to know what and how to do what I need to do. Thank you.
