How does one submit a correction?
The page https://m.imdb.com/name/nm0039073/trivia?ref_=m_nm_dyk_trv
has an error about her death. It HAS been confirmed and the information stating that it has not (And that I or any media outlet contradicted her death) has been maliciously spread by someone who has repeatedly ignored important facts.
Her death was confirmed by matching birth name, two married names, birthdate, place of birth (Which is wrong on my online outlets) as well a yearbook photo from her real hometown. I have maintained these facts and they have been verified by other media outlets as well as her ex husband.

Roger: To be clear, this trivia item says that you incorrectly reported last year that Kaitlyn Ashley had died but later apologized. And I understand you are saying that, in fact, Kaitlyn Ashley did die and your initial report was correct.

If so, I would recommend that the first update you submit should be to have her date of death listed in IMDb. To do this, go to her IMDb page (on a desktop/laptop computer, not the mobile site or app) and click "Edit page". On the next screen, on the Date of Death line, select "Add 1 item", then click "Continue". On the next screen, the instructions will be fairly self-explanatory from there. However, you will be expected to provide some kind of confirmation of her death from a reliable source, such as a link to public records, a printed publication, or official documents.

After IMDb has accepted the date of death for this actress, it should be possible for you to request deletion of the incorrect trivia item. This time, you would start from her IMDb page, click "Edit page", and on the Trivia line, select "Correct/Delete". As you go through the process, you will be expected to provide an explanation as to why the item should be deleted, which should be something like "I am Roger T. Pipe, who is mentioned in this item. This item falsely states that I inaccurately reported the death of Kaitlyn Ashley in 2019 and that she is still alive. However, as IMDb already indicates, she did in fact die in 2019."

I hope this helps.

Thank you.
I did that and included links to all of the proof of her death. It was declined. Oddly enough the proof I sent MATCHES what is already on the site. The proof to the contrary was provided by someone who stalked Kelly (Kaitlyn) for years.
So since the death can't be change, what can be done to take down the "Trivia" that I was incorrect AND that I retracted since both are inaccurate. There is NO evidence that I did either and yet that bit of unconfirmed information remains. Any help correcting at least that part since no one seems to care to accurately report someone's death?

Roger: I still believe that removing the trivia item is dependent upon IMDb first accepting that this actress is deceased.

In your contribution history at https://contribute.imdb.com/updates/history/, is there a "Track Contribution" link for your data submissions, and if so, do they provide any useful information? (I realize that it might say something like "we were unable to verify this submission" without explaining any detail as to what the problem is.)

If not, I would recommend the following:
  1. Post your submission reference numbers in this thread. Then wait a few days and see if an IMDB staffer responds to this thread.
  2. If nobody from the staff responds after a few days, contact the IMDb Help Desk at https://help.imdb.com/contact. Select the options for "IMDb Contributor", then  "I need help with a new submission I've made", then "Names & biographical Data", then click "E-mail". On the next screen you will be able to use a form to send an e-mail to the staff. In the form, make sure to include your submission reference numbers and a full explanation of the situation and what evidence you have to prove that the actress is deceased.
I hope this helps.
