Go to any page for an actor who has appeared on a television series for more than five episodes and click the (XX more) links. The page with the episode list does not come up, instead the actor's main page comes up again.

For example, on Scott Caan's page under his Hawaii Five-0 appearances, click the (118 more), and get sent back to the main page. The link http://www.imdb.com/name/nm0004790/filmoseries#tt1600194 does not work. I have to go to the character page, and click that link to see the list of episodes.

This is very frustrating.

For me, that problem occurs in the "Reference view"
of name pages, but not in the default view.

Please try the following.

Go to the Site Preferences page:    https://secure.imdb.com/register-imdb/siteprefs

In the "General" section of the preference settings,
find the "Show reference view..." option.

If the "Show reference view..." option is check-marked,
click to remove the check-mark.  Then click the "Update" button.

Then visit a name-page (such as the Scott Cann page that you mentioned).
Examine the name-page URL in your browser's address box:
Now the URL should not have the word "reference" in it.

Click a link to view more episodes.
The link should now function correctly.

*sigh*
So I can't have the old title/name layout and keep the ability to see all the episodes for an actor? I prefer the old layout because the "new" layout is so obnoxious.

Not really.

However, there is a second possible option. If you check the option in the Titles section of your General Site Preferences beside Always display full cast and crew credits, it will give you a page that is quite similar to the Reference version: the Combined version. The drawback is that it always shows all Episodes, which can make for a lot of scrolling to get past them.

(David mentioned the "Combined" view option, which affects the display of title pages.  Unfortunately AFAIK there is no such workaround for name pages.)

IMDb CEO Col Needham replied to another complaint about the issue.
