Hello for title http://www.imdb.com/title/tt2844894/c... - I Killed My BFF: Two Cowboys - I am listed as Self - when I was portraying a character "Ryan Bryant" - Recently this acting job aired on the Lifetime Movie Network and the family (son and daughter) contacted me via social media. I was very respectful and thankful that I could help to make the story of their father whom had passed on more visible and help bring it to life but I could not explain why on IMDB I was listed as Self or as their father. Out of respect for the family and their loss can someone at IMDB please change this to a role versus as SELF? I have several records of requesting this but it has never been actioned. Thank you

The reason for this is that IMDb automatically displays all credits in a documentary in the Self section, even if the Character Name is quite different from the Actor Name.

The way to move the credits back to regular cast is to add the Keyword reenactment to the Title. (The Keywords section is in the Plot & Quotes group about half-way down the main Update page.)
