Multiple Personality Disorder or Dissociative Identity Disorder is a severe condition in which two or more distinct identities, or personality states, are present in and alternately take control of an individual. The person also experiences memory loss that is too extensive to be explained by ordinary forgetfulness.

Which of these films depicting Multiple Personality Disorder disease and its effects on the characters moved you the most?

[Note: This poll contains spoilers.]

I usually wouldn't nitpick on something that went live a year ago..  but it came up on my IMDB & since a lot of people probably think that IMDB employees directly make all the polls (or at least have control over what goes live) it should be politically and diagnostically correct as possible so no one gets mad at IMDB.

Since Multiple PD isn't in the DSM anymore its past should be brought up only so people understand that DID means the same thing.

May I suggest that you request to change the title/content of the poll to the following:

..For the title:

  • Live Poll: Films Depicting Dissociative Identity Disorder (don't think it needs quotations)
...And if you really want to include multiple personalities in the title another option is:
  • Films Depicting Dissociative Identity (Multiple Personality) Disorder
..or
  • Films Depicting Dissociative Identity Disorder (Multiple Personality Disorder)
...For the body:
  • Dissociative Identity Disorder (formerly known as Multiple Personality Disorder) is a severe condition marked by the presence of two or more distinct identities or personality states, which come to the forefront at different times and have power over the person's behavior. Extensive gaps in memory of past events are common and usually correspond to times when the individual had "switched" to an alternate personality state without their own conscious awareness.

Which of these films depicting Dissociative Identity Disorder (remove the word disease as well) and its effects on the characters moved you the most?

You did a great job with the poll and making it factual apart from not specifying that MPD is an outdated term
