Issue: Several of the "Game of Thrones" character profile pictures could stand to be updated with newer and better images. The issues range from not being age current, multiple people in the image, character obscured in the background or at the bottom of the image or just simply a newer and better image is available.
Problem: However as with most of the "Game of Thrones" characters, these profiles are locked and cannot be updated by contributors.

Yes, I tried twice yesterday and twice today. I have tried every character profile listed. I still get an error message like this for each appropriate character.

I was able to edit some minor "Games of Thrones" characters that
appeared in fewer than five episodes. But, I don't think those minor
characters were ever locked in the first place. As a rule, I generally don't have an issue updating other characters.

Hi both,
Apologies it does look like these have been locked down. I've changed some of the above images however a couple of the suggestions aren't very good quality for a primary image therefore I've chosen alternatives or left as is given the choices available.
