The Terror
https://www.imdb.com/title/tt2708480/?ref_=nv_sr_1?ref_=nv_sr_1
in season 1 had it's story cover the 1848 true story of the HMS Terror and Erebus, but season 2 is a completely different story/plot. Season 2 will be completely different. It will be set in the WW2 Japanese interment camps with a "cultural monster".
So the current title plot will be obviously incomplete. Is the proper/best solution to simply add to the plot with the new story line? Should it mention seasons along the lines of s1 blah blah, while s2 blah blah?

Thanks for the help.

It seems this is a semi-anthology series (changing by season instead of by episode).

As a user, I'd rather see a generalized plot outline at the title level, and more specific ones for the seasons, perhaps submitted as plot summaries.

Similar to American Horror Story:
https://www.imdb.com/title/tt1844624/?ref_=nv_sr_2?ref_=nv_sr_2
Although when I click to Plot Summary, I'd rather see
Season 1: storyline
Season 2: storyline
etc.

Or is there somewhere else to see plot outline/summary for a season?

One example of similar series (not the genre, but structure):
https://m.imdb.com/title/tt2788432/

( The plot outline is actually a bit bland, but anyway.. )

I'm afraid semi-anthology series will always have plot outlines that are a bit bland. Fargo springs to mind: https://www.imdb.com/title/tt2802850/reference

Hi MikeTheWhistle,

Unfortunately the plot outline should really apply to the entirety of the series, given its limited character count. You may elaborate in the plot summary between specific seasons of an anthology series though.

I hope this helps.

Thanks,

Another case here: The title now seems to be "Manhunt: The Unabomber", but Season 2 revolves around Atlanta Olympics Bomber. The main title should be just "Manhunt" and the plot outline should refer to the series, not the first season.
