According to its rating, film or show XYZ should be in the Top 250 Rated list but it's missing. Why?The same logic applies to Lowest Rated Movies.
As documented on the Top 250 Chart page, only votes from regular IMDb voters are considered when generating the Top 250 Rated out of the full voting database. This explains any difference between the vote averages reported in the Top 250 Rated Charts and those on the individual movie pages, as well as why movies, whose averages make them seem as though they should appear on the list, do not.
To maintain the effectiveness of the Top 250 Rated Charts, we deliberately do not and will not disclose the criteria used for a person to be counted as a regular voter.
The Lowest Rated Movie list only includes theatrical features. Shorts, TV movies, and documentaries are not included. The list is ranked by a formula which includes the number of ratings each movie received from users, and value of ratings received from regular users. To be included on the list, a movie must receive ratings from at least 1,500 users.More likely than not, Cumali Ceber: Allah Seni Alsin (2017) does not have at least 1,500 votes from regular voters, even though it has over 26,000 votes.
