Lyric video as a music video subtype

I've recently added a music video by Pet Shop Boys, On Social Media (2019). As it is a subtype of music video which is often named "lyric video" I've researched how that is usually added to IMDb. I have found quite a few examples that specify that in a way like Imagine Dragons: Bad Liar - Lyric Video (2019), however other examples include more variations such as Coldplay: Miracles, Lyric Video (2014)Avicii: Lonely Together - Part 2 (Lyric Video) (2017) and even Sia: Alive: Lyric Video (2015)

Based on that I decided that the first variant seems to be prevalent so I originally added "On Social Media" as "Pet Shop Boys: On Social Media - Lyric Video". Yet, when it came through and was approved it still appeared as "Pet Shop Boys: On Social Media". I don't think it's an issue on any level since it's unlikely that the song will get any other music video: it is from their EP "Agenda" which consists of four tracks, all of which won't be featured in their next album coming later this year, plus all of them, despite being lyric videos are rather inventive and well-made anyhow.

Still, I would like to know whether there are any naming conventions for music videos, because some of them have very different alternate versions and that's not just about lyric videos.

Hi Nikolay -

Music Videos should always be formatted: Artist/Band: Title (year) (V) i.e. Taylor Swift: Bad Blood (2015) (V)

For different music video versions, we have previously been flexible when displaying these titles, however, our preference is that the version be listed in brackets: Artist/Band: Title (Lyric Video) (year) (V)

I have now made amendments to our Title Formatting guide to include this preference mention, those changes should be live on the site shortly.
