Is it possible to have all three children linked to my email address? I do not want to have three email addresses, one for each child. I can pay for three separate imdbpro accounts, but do not want to have multiple emails.

Hi Mike -

Currently, our IMDbPro subscriptions only allow uploading one resume and/or one set of photos per individual. Once you have entered the name of one of your children to upload a resume or photos, you won't be able to upload another resume or photo gallery for your other children unless you create separate accounts.

So, unfortunately, you cannot use the same e-mail address for each account, you'll have to log-out and sign-up for separate IMDbPro accounts (using a different email address).

You may be able to create email aliases so you can use different addresses for IMDb, but receive emails in the same inbox.

Another possibility is to have the three children email accounts forward to your main email account.

Note that you will only need to use the specific email account to maintain the Resume page or add/change photos for that child.

For submitting update requests for the main part of their Name pages you can use any of the accounts - or even a separate one.

There would be an advantage to using a single account for everything except the Resume side, as it will put your Update History for all of them in a single place. Also, the more correct data a Contributor enters, the more likely the Data Manager is to approve a new request. Having all the data on a single account will make it easier for them to see what your total history is.

This kind of issue came up previously:

https://getsatisfaction.com/imdb/topi...

I did comment that a suggestion to allow one IMDB Pro account to control a number of IMDB accounts (as long as they pay the multiple fees) would be a good idea - it'd make people's lives easier and I could imagine IMDB making more money from it. I don't believe such a suggestion was made. If not, feel free to start one or I'll get around to it in a day or so (or forget until next time).
