Marking items as watched

This conversation has been merged. Please reference the main conversation: Add buttons to add titles to seen list

The problem(s):

1. There is no apparent way to see which items in a list (particularly the top 250) are marked as watched (not rated).

2. Also, they're easily marked as watched on the webpage, but I can't see a way to do it in the app without rating the movie. We need a simple button, "mark as watched". Preferably shown on a left swipe on the table cell so that we don't have to leave the list view.

Sorry, but my spontaneous reactuon is: why are you spamming this issue with a lot of irrelevant information?

Are your screenshots really from the iOS app (that this issue is clearly about)? They don't look anything like what I see in the latest version on my iPhone. Actually they look like the website.

Why are you talking about the website in a thread about the iOS apps?

If this is not the channel to reach the development team/submit feedback then please let me know and I will delete the thread.

Hi shyarm,

I did not notice this thread was marked for the iOS apps. I removed my original response, since it clearly does not apply to you.

Hi Shyarm,

I've moved this thread to theĀ  "Ideas" section as this is not a current feature we offer. Our team does routinely review this section when thinking of ways to improve our site and apps.

As a big fan of the IMDB app I second the suggestion to include MY ratings on the Top Movies listing, making it easy to identify films I've watched.
