Yes, Nolan is an iconic leader, I do admire, too.
But you compare only the Batman-trilogy of Nolan to the epic story Marvel told in 22 linked movies which are tied together in a big showdown?
Disney did one thing well:
They made a complete saga in one style, which dc made in many different attempts.
At last Warner found their track and I'm very curious about the new Joker movie as well as the sequels of Wonderwoman, Aquaman, etc. I hope they stay on the track and do another great saga like the one Marvel did with it's last 22 movies. I'm on great expectations.
But which one is better? How would you count it? On quality? Ok. Nolan's 3 movies were outstanding, no question. But I do think most of the 22 Marvel movies were outstanding in some ways, too. And specially perfect as a overall tied story construct.
I think "better" might be a matter of taste, a matter of personal adjustment or issues that only can bring up contra positions. If the question was: "What's Your Favorite Super Hero Publisher?" There would be many pressure taken. All could decide free without fate.

Nah 3 masterpiece > 22 goods movies ( Yes MCU good but they don't have MASTERPIECE)
Christopher Nolan his 10 movies > Every Disney movie ever made on the cinema history
#nolanfans (nolanites is pejorative)
"Seriously, Marvel fanboys and elitist film snobs need to find something better to do with their precious time. I'm sick of everyone giving Chris Nolan the reputation of being an overrated hack. He is a brilliant filmmaker and has never even come close to making a bad film, and TDKR will be no exception. I'm not being a fanboy, I just happen to possess a little thing called common sense."

I hope Christopher Nolan will release his Larceny and Tarantella soon (the only 2 movies form him I have not seen yet.)

No, all 22 movies together are one big masterpiece and some of them are masterpieces in it self. And about being a fan boy - I know who is. ;) And yes, Nolan is a big Movie maker, no question. ;)

Is this a question you are asking, REZA, or are you wanting to make a poll suggestion?
Either way, I'll have to think of my answer for a little. ;)

i cant stand christopher nolan's treatment of batman...yes...heath ledger was a great joker, but christian bale was a horrible forgettable batman...only tim burton and michael keaton did it right....
as far as the comic books go...dc was always above marvel...as for the films...i would still have to give dc the upper hand...marvel makes very boring films....

I think IMDb should have a Dislike button, I want to Dislike this reply so much. Christopher Nolan saved DC and Warner Bros ( Which almost the only big studio not owned by Disney.)
Buena Vista 33.6% of the market share Owned by Disney
Universal 13.6% of the market share Owned by Disney
Warner Bros 13.5% Owned by AT and T
Sony and Columbia 11.2% of the market share Owned by Sony Corporation but as a deal with Disney for many movies
Lionsgate 6.7 % owned by themself
Paramount owned by Viacom 4.8%
20th Century Fox Owned by Disney 3.8%
Disney owns more 51% of the market share.
So, Basically Christopher Nolan saved the cinema industry The 2 biggest movies of Warner in terms of domestic gross ( The Dark Knight) (The Dark Knight Rises) were directed by Nolan and because of the success of Christopher Nolan's TDK trilogy D.C is still making movies now.
If Disney buys Sony and Warner Bros they would have 75,8 % thankfully 75% and more is a monopoly so the court would block Disney. But Disney could still buy Warner and have 64.6%
Sadly, Disney made all his money with a Bunny that Walt Disney stole from his friend, but he changed it to a mouse, this article explains why: https://nypost.com/2018/06/30/walt-disney-stole-the-idea-for-mickey-mouse-off-his-friend/

But rocky wrote about the Nolan films themselves. One can dislike them even if they had a positive impact beyond their purely cinematic qualities, no?

you weren't rude...you expressed an opinion which is cool...but...
big box office does not denote a good movie...
remember 'the phantom menace'....
never judge a movie by its money....
